Attention Alumni

Did you know that in just 2 short years, Leland High School will be turning 50?!! We want to rekindle relationships with past graduates sooner than later. And what better way than having them COME HOME to the homecoming football game this Friday? Leland ASB invites our Alumni to a Hero's Homecoming Game - On Friday, October 24th, our Varsity Football team will take on Leigh High School at 7PM. Present the Alumni flyer and receive a dollar off admission and get recognized during halftime. (flyer here)

WASC Accreditation

The Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) has granted accreditation to Leland High School through June 30, 2020. This was the best possible outcome of our self-study report and the WASC committee's visit in March 2014. All Leland stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and the community, played a critical role in earning this accreditation status. Congratulations! We will focus on our WASC Action Plan for the next six years. A mid-year report is due to WASC in 2017.

Credit Recovery Night

Leland High School will be hosting a Credit Recovery Night on November 4, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the ITC to introduce thedifferent programs available in the San Jose Unified School District to help students recover credits and graduate on time. These programs provide additional support and an alternative environment for those students who find that the traditional educational setting is not ideal for their academic and personal success. If you have any questions, contact Lisa Castillo at extension 62245.
